Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Optimized Apps handles your data. Optimized Apps makes single-purpose tools for broadcast, AV, and live-event work. They are built to do their job on your device and your network — not to collect information about you.
Information we don't collect
We do not require an account, and we do not collect names, email addresses, location, contacts, or advertising identifiers. The stream URLs, passphrases, hostnames, source names, and media you work with stay on your device and your local network. We never receive them.
Crash and diagnostic data
To keep the app stable, Optimized Apps may send anonymous crash and performance diagnostics through the platform's crash-reporting service (Google Firebase Crashlytics on Android; Apple's diagnostics on iOS/iPadOS). These reports describe how the app failed — not what you were streaming.
By design, crash reports never include any value you supplied: no stream URLs, passphrases, hostnames, source names, or file paths from your library. Only static, developer-defined diagnostic information is sent. Crash collection is disabled in development builds.
Purchases
Our apps are a one-time purchase — pay once, no subscription. Payments are processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment-card details; the store shares only the anonymous receipt needed to confirm your purchase and unlock features.
Third-party services
- Apple App Store / Google Play — distribution and payment processing, under their own privacy policies.
- Google Firebase Crashlytics (Android) — anonymous crash diagnostics, as described above.
Children
These are professional tools and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If our data practices change — for example, when we add the optional feedback feature on optimizedapps.io — we will update this page and revise the date above.
